MYSURU FOODIE
BRAND STRATEGIST
2024
Mysuru Foodie was born out of a simple idea: to document the authentic food culture of Mysuru beyond just famous landmarks and tourist spots.
Mysuru is known for its royal heritage, but its food culture is equally rich — from early-morning filter coffee and crisp dosas to legendary sweets like Mysore Pak and hidden street-food gems known only to locals. Despite this, many local eateries and traditional flavors remained under-represented on social media.
Mysuru Foodie started as a passion project to discover, experience, and share real food stories from the city — focusing on taste, tradition, affordability, and honesty rather than trends alone. The goal was not just to showcase food, but to celebrate the culture, people, and everyday food experiences that define Mysuru.
As the page grew, Mysuru Foodie evolved into a trusted local food guide — helping residents and visitors explore Mysuru through food. The brand voice remained friendly, relatable, and rooted in local pride, making it feel like a recommendation from a friend rather than a review from a critic.

Brand Assets
Brand assets are the subtle storytellers of a brand — seen in patterns, packaging, and backgrounds that stick in people’s minds. They build subconscious recall and emotional connection.
The pattern draws inspiration from the elegant curves and motifs of the Mysuru Palace, echoing the rich heritage of the Wadiyar dynasty. Rooted in history, these forms create a visual connection that feels familiar and meaningful to locals, while offering outsiders a glimpse into Mysuru’s cultural legacy. This approach helps the brand bridge tradition and modern storytelling, making the design both culturally grounded and welcoming.
